Paleo Solutions maintains a friendly, professional staff, representing vast experience throughout California and other areas in the western United States and Mexico. All members have spent many years working with developers and other agencies on various projects, and are well versed in construction site protocol and safety. We believe in high ethical standards in both our science and our commitment to our clients .

 

Scott Armstrong

Scott ArmstrongScott Armstrong, Principal, is responsible for the business management and completion of proposals and oversight of all Paleo Solutions projects. He has 9 years of experience working in the Paleontological and Cultural Resource Management field. Scott was the Field Director for Paleontology at RMW Paleo Associates from 1997 to 2002 and continued in this position after the company's acquisition. Scott has built a reputation for working efficiently and consulting closely with clients and oversight agencies to ease the mitigation process. This is complemented by his extensive paleontological experience throughout California. Scott is also certified by the California Energy Commission (CEC) to conduct paleontological monitoring and teach environmental awareness programs.

 

Geraldine Aron

Geraldine AronGeraldine Aron, Principal, is responsible for maintaining the overall scientific integrity and oversight of all Paleo Solutions projects. She has six years experience working in the Paleontological and Cultural Resource Management field. Her expertise is in Geology and she has a B.S. and M.S. (June 2007) in the Geological Sciences from California State University, Long Beach (CSULB). Geraldine has taught geology and paleontology courses. Her field projects, both geological and paleontological, include areas in Utah, central Nevada, southern, central, and northern California counties. After being hired by RMW Paleo Associates in the Fall of 1999, Geraldine worked as Co-Field Direct/Project Manager with Scott Armstrong. Her career also included an appointment as a staff paleontologist at the San Diego Natural History Museum. Where she gained valuable experience both in the field and in specimen preparation. Geraldine is certified by the California Energy Commission (CEC) to conduct paleontological monitoring and teach environmental awareness program.
